The correct, super-compact design that kids need to achieve comfortable and efficient bike fit. A narrow 680mm bar (which can be shortened too) to fit riders approx 9 to 13 yrs olds, to avoid over-stretching and improve bike control. 

Flat (zero rise) handlebars also help lower the effective stack, equalising the height of the saddle and handlebars, for shorter riders;
